Serving Our Neighbours

Social Ministry

Social ministry is needs-meeting ministry, wherein believers express their faith and love for God by serving those in need. It is a tool for our evangelistic mission, viewing social action as love manifested because of the gospel.

  • Focused Effort: We pick a few social ministries and do them well rather than stretching too thin.
  • Whole Church: Done by the entire church, small groups, and Sunday schools.
  • Beyond Basics: More than food and clothes; it includes volunteering at retirement homes and helping neighbors.
  • Gospel-Centered: We remain a gospel-centered body, using social ministry as a bridge to spiritual needs-meeting.
